Job Description: A Customer Service Representative provides first class service to clients including sales, telephone & counter enquiries. A Customer Service Representative who works 35 or more standard hours weekly is eligible for paid holidays and high performance bonuses.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Providing professional customer service, sales & Marketing, utilizing excellent customer service skills for incoming sales and customer service calls to develop and grow the business.
Provide feedback to management and other team members regarding information obtained by customers, competitive information, marketing feedback and any other information that benefits the Company, accurately enter customer information into the computer. Follow up clients calls & sales by sending appropriate mail or email to attempt to close the sale. Maintain the facility grounds to Safe ‘n’ SOUND Self Storage’s standards.

Education/or Experience
A High School Certificate or equivalent is required. The incumbent carries a minimum of three years sales and customer service experience.
Language Skills
Incumbent must have the ability to read, analyze & interpret complex documentation, demonstrate ability to respond effectively to sensitive enquiries or complaints. Strong oral communication skills & ability to read and interpret reports, legal documents and procedural manuals in English. Negotiating skills.
Mathematical and Computer skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers. Type a minimum of 40 wpm. Ability to handle monetary transactions including eftpos, credit cards, cash & cheque.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts & conclude. Ability to show empathy when required.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here a representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Whilst performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit at computers, stand to greet and serve customers, walk the facility grounds, clean the facility, grounds and storage spaces. Lifting merchandise is a requirement. Maintain trucks and trailers and equipment. The employee may also be required to undertake tasks such as mowing and gardening.

A Sales representative persuades potential customers to reserve a unit, take an appointment or collect contact information to follow up. The representative strives to reach established sales goals whilst communicating effectively and professionally face to face and on the phone. He or she must be skilled in overcoming objections and providing the customer with expert information.
Job Requirements:

- Consistently providing high level, professional communications, utilizing excellent sales skills for incoming sales to further develop the business;
- Handling calls & enquiries in the most effective way to result in a sale & climinate the need for customers to call or come back;
